Static electricity

Static electricity is caused when two objects are rubbed together and a loss or gain of electrons happens, which results in a build up of electrical charges on the surface of an object.

Current electricity

Currents electricity is the flow of electrical charge.

The Difference

Current and Static electricity aare both very different. Current electricity has a controlled flow from one place to another and it is constant. Static electricity, on the other hand, is uncontrolled and does not have a contant flow, it is instead sudden and momentary movements.
